Marketing Intern

Position: Marketing Intern
Location: Sydney (onsite)

Reports To: Sales & Marketing Head

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and creative Marketing Intern to join our team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to
gain hands-on experience across various aspects of marketing. As a key member of the marketing team, you’ll work on exciting projects, learn valuable skills, and contribute to campaigns that make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities

1. Content Creation

• Assist in creating engaging content for social media, blogs, email campaigns, and website updates.
Design basic graphics using tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.

2. Social Media Management

• Help manage and schedule posts across various social media platforms.
Monitor and respond to audience engagement, comments, and messages.
• Research and propose new trends or strategies to grow social media presence.

3. Digital Marketing

• Assist in running paid advertising campaigns (e.g. Google Ads, Facebook Ads).
• Help optimise content for SEO and track website analytics using tools like Google Analytics.

4. Market Research

• Conduct research on competitors, market trends, and customer insights.
• Analyse and report on marketing campaign performance.

5. Event Support

• Support the planning and promotion of events, webinars, or tradeshows.
• Coordinate with vendors, partners, or internal teams as needed.

6. Administrative Tasks

• Maintain marketing databases, spreadsheets, and documentation.
• Support the team with general administrative duties as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• Digital Savvy: Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools (e.g., Hootsuite, HubSpot).
• Creativity: A knack for storytelling and a passion for creating engaging content.
• Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Photoshop) and an understanding of SEO is a plus.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-Oriented: Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
• Team Player: A proactive and collaborative attitude with a willingness to learn.
